Based in the head office in Dubai, the News Reporter will work along a team of reporters across Dubai and Abu Dhabi to uncover and write stories that appeal to our 425,000 daily readers and growing online audience. Key Responsibilities: To work with news reporters and news editor to: §  Produce a comprehensive and engaging national news section for 7DAYS newspaper. §  Write tight, concise, accurate news articles. §  Contribute stories and features that fall within legal and cultural boundaries. §  Be able to turn their hand to all aspects of news gathering from community news to issue-driven investigative articles. §  Develop opportunities for reporting news and features via multimedia, such as producing video, photographic or audio content. Key Skills: §  Previous news reporting experience on a daily newspaper. §  Must have journalism training qualifications. §  Ability to work as a part of a team and the ability to sniff out a story is essential. 7DAYS is a hugely popular English language daily in the United Arab Emirates.
