The Criminal Court of First Instance was told that the 22-year-old Indian used his mobile phone to film the pair on two occasions last month. Prosecutors said the shop worker took videos and images of the couple while they were in their bedroom. But it was not clear how he had got onto his neighbours’ balcony. The couple, who live in an apartment at Baniyas Square, reportedly noticed a mobile phone being pointed at them through an opening in a balcony door at 11.50pm on November 15.     “We noticed the mobile when the curtain moved a bit, so I went to check it out and saw [the worker] hiding in a corner so he would not be seen,” said the 29-year-old husband. The husband found four clips of himself and his 24-year-old wife on the worker’s phone, including videos of himself naked and pictures of his wife in her underwear. Police arrested the worker after receiving the complaint from the husband. Prosecutors said that the man had confessed to the crime while questioned. But yesterday in court he denied the charges of sexual assault and of violating the privacy of the couple.
