I took him to RERA and won my judgement. My landlord appealed and again, I won the judgement. I was happy that the system (although long and difficult) worked and that I was finally going to get my money back. However, he still hasn’t paid RERA and it doesn’t seem like I’ll ever collect this money. I’ve been at this whole process for over a year and I’m about ready to give up. I went to the police and they said it was a municipal matter. When I asked RERA, they said talk to the police… is there anywhere that specialises in these collections that can help me out.
