These as service provider are delivering what are obviously overpriced and irrelevant suite of packages that simply do not satisfy their audience, or why else do people look to alternatives. I have a basic package with one of the providers and have more than 300 channels, of which possibly four I watch with anything bordering on regularity. Why can we not have a little deregulation and allow more boutique service providers access to the market here? The Netflix, Hulu and Amazon primes of the world. Providers here could concentrate on what they believe they are good at and others likewise. Let the viewers decide what they wish to subscribe to. In these days of easy access to content on the net why do we really need a sole provider to bundle content on our behalf? Certain providers are frightened of having to compete for a slice of market share. It seems they would rather spend their time litigating to try and keep the entire market share for themselves.
