Last year, the annual contest was won by the Audi A3 – the second time the German firm picked up the award in three years. Can anyone stop them from making it a hat-trick? That is up to you. We want 7DAYS readers to nominate their favourite car launched in the past 12 months. Once all the nominations are in, our judges will draw up a shortlist of 10 cars – which will be put to a public vote. The car with the most votes will be crowned 7DAYS Car of the Year 2015. The deadline for nomina­tions is Thursday, December 30. The contest is open to any car that went on sale in the UAE between December 1, 2014 and November 30, 2015. This includes new models and new generations of existing models. Each car will be judged on its performance, design, value for money, innovation and practicality. Cars will be graded based on their segment, meaning a hatchback has as much chance of making the shortlist as an 800bhp supercar. Anyone can nominate a car, including readers, dealers and manufacturers. To nominate your car, email the make and model to COTY@7days.ae.
