I was in a crowded hypermarket checking out a major kitchen appliance I wanted to buy accompanied by a salesperson. There was a lady wearing an abaya who was checking out the adjacent appliance with another salesperson. There was a two feet distance between us and my back was towards her. She was also facing in the opposite direction and talking to the other salesperson with her. To my surprise after a while I felt something just brushed pass my back which I ignored as the place was already crowded. A second later I was shocked to find this lady yelling at me for standing close to her. At that time I could not even understand what had happened and why that lady is speaking that way. Then I realised that the lady moved backward without watching and the edge of her large bag-like purse that she was carrying over her shoulder just grazed my back. I was really shocked to see her disrespectful expressions and the way she was speaking. I remained quiet as I thought that it is useless to talk to her seeing her demeanour and what if she escalates the issue then certainly the law will not be on my side in this country. I am a sole bread winner for large family. Being a lady does not give you right to speak in disrespectful manner to any male strangers. If you deserve to have that undue respect you should also respect the dignity of others. Jack, UAE
