The effect of the construction noise from the three towers opposite my building has resulted in many of the residents moving out. Now, I know the normal reply to any kind of complaint is quite simply “if you don’t like it leave” but surely common sense must prevail!! Around the clock construction work is not only making many lives miserable, as Marc pointed out, it is bad for your health! In the past when I have contacted the developers I was told the work needs to be done during the night as it is too hot in the summer, so here we are in the cooler weather with no sign of let up. I know Dubai has many construction projects in place for 2020. In the meantime, for many of us working hard in this luxurious city, the luxury of a full night’s sleep seems to out of the question.
