Driver seeks answers on Hatta road closure

Please can someone let me know what is the issue with the closure of the E44 to Hatta? This resulted in having to turn round and go a lengthy way round adding to an already long journey. Why are there no diversions put in place for drivers. Why the closure? Does anyone have any idea how long the closures will be in place? Driver, Dubai
