Sami – Boat (abra) ride around Dubai Creek. – Fish market. – Tasty karak tea in a cafe near Souk Naif. – Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. – Hot air balloon over the desert. – Abu Dhabi’s Oasis Restaurant in Abu Dhabi – delicious traditional food.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ – The people of the UAE, both locals and expats. They all have wonderful stories to tell and have hidden gems to share. All you have to do is ask.   Heather – The Abu Dhabi Oasis, a tiny restaurant where we had delicious chicken and rice. We took Polaroid shots of the owners and they gave us lunch for free. – The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. I know it’s not a hidden gem for UAE natives but it was for me. – The Al Thahoona Trading Est. outside Souk Naif, where I bought my first Arabic dress. – Riding an abra down Dubai Creek. Such a beautiful mix of old and new. – The House of Tea in Deira. Great people watching in the alley next door and delicious Arabic tea.     The bloggers had just three days to discover Dubai and the UAE.
