I was dining at a Chinese restaurant and was left annoyed with our server who kept interrupting us by picking up the dishes and glasses as we ate. He picked up the dishes without asking even when there was some food left on them. I had to ask him to leave the dish because we had yet to finish. He still managed to walk away with a glass my brother was drinking from. The server made us feel as if he was in a hurry to clear our table and wanted to get rid of us. I didn’t feel like a valued guest at all. It was quite intimidating behavior. I have no idea as to why some restaurant staff behave in this manner where they give out an impression of being tired and unhappy with their job. Not only that, they sometimes vent out their frustration on diners by acting oddly. We pay for good service.
