The dam that Zayed built

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed recently vowed that Marib Dam would be liberated from Houthi forces. His promise, fulfilled this week, was backed by years of history, not least of which includes Sheikh Zayed’s funding of its reconstruction in the 1980s.
