Not only are they an annoying lazy rich-kid phase zooming past people in malls and the metro, they are very dangerous! A family friend had the same kind of lithium battery charging his model boat in his garage. He did everything right, took precautions to prevent a fire but the battery sparked and set fire to his garage and house! Thank goodness they were not asleep at the time, but they lost everything. These items should be banned from all public transport and apartment blocks! They are a fire hazard. You would not take other banned products on board a flight so airlines need to start educating the public and making everyone aware.
